The Healing Justice Dialogue Series is offering a space to cultivate a communal space for healing in the context of loss and grief that so many of us and so many others have experienced this past year.
Join us for Healing Journeys: Turning to Grief in Community with Misty De Berry on Wednesday, June 2 from 6:00-7:30 pm (CST).
How might we cultivate a healing presence with loss and grief? In what ways can we nurture community–turn to one another–along the way? This workshop opens a space for meditation, storytelling, and support around feelings of grief and loss while navigating the overlapping terrains of personal change and social upheaval.
Misty De Berry is a senior lecturer in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Dartmouth College. Both her scholarly and artistic work take up the relationship between Black women, embodiment and psychic violence.
