Education and Community Outreach

The work of our dissemination core is geared toward bringing health equity to the forefront of discussion – both in our classrooms and in community settings.

We have developed a new course at DePaul: SOC390 / HLTH380 Analyzing Health Disparities in Chicago. The course introduces students to debates surrounding health disparities in Chicago, and challenges them to use publicly-available data to develop projects that contribute to those debates.
