We welcome submissions for our working papers series. Everyone is welcome to submit papers, including students, faculty and community partners.

Papers in this series are usually commissioned by one of the Center’s co-directors, although we also welcome unsolicited submissions. Papers are not peer-reviewed, but are reviewed by at least 2 members of the editorial board before publication, ensuring quality and relevance of the paper. Inclusion of work in the series should not prohibit authors from seeking publication in more traditional academic journals. Copyright of the work remains with the author(s).

Style

A typical paper in the series will conform to the style guidelines of a journal in its field. Being an online series, we have some flexibility with word count. Papers may be in the form of the following:

  • Research papers reporting results of original research. These papers will typically follow the traditional style (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion).
  • Literature reviews exploring a substantive issue or theme.
  • Commentaries analyzing the terms of a debate, offering an innovative position.
  • Glossaries defining key terms, concepts, or techniques.
  • Photo essays.

How to Submit Your Work

Papers should be submitted in Word format (.doc or .docx) to Fernando De Maio or Raj Shah.
