Dr. Blackstock’s passion for equity and justice in health and society stem from her mother’s enduring legacy. It also comes from her decade of experience in clinical practice where she witnessed structural healthcare disparities. Dr. Blackstock enacted her passion through Advancing Health Equity, which partners with healthcare organizations through speaking engagements, workshops, and consulting services to promote diversity and equity in healthcare.
